I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was wonderful thanks to visiting my Illinois family and getting to do this cute little shoot for two friends while I was there. Aren’t they adorable?
I’ve known Sarah for ages and we have similar taste in photos so I was really looking forward to this session. She was amazing and let me help pick out everything from the props to the clothes to the location which is my favorite way to shoot…I guess I’m a bit of a control freak. :)
We hadn’t even planned on taking rail road pictures but as we were on our way to another location I saw these and made them stop the car and hop out. They were great sports and went along with my crazy whims which I’m thankful for because this shot turned out to be one of my favorites.
It’s so funny because Sarah and I got together the night before to try out several outfits and decide what they both should wear but on the morning of the shoot it was SO cold and they ended up covering up everything with coats!
I was worried at first but it actually worked out great, I think I actually prefer the coats to the outfits I had picked out. (What does that say about my fashion sense? Yikes.)
We took these in front of a brick municipal building in a local park. Right as it was Tyler’s turn a huge truck pulled up and the driver sat there staring at us with a cigarette dangling from her lips.
Sarah and I were cracking up but amazingly Tyler wasn’t distracted by the awkwardness and I was able to do this fun two piece. What a trooper!
Ugh, you two are too cute! Can’t wait to shoot your wedding in May. :)
