Cat print half shirt – Thrifted

Maroon tights – Gifted
Buckled boots – Joyce Leslie ($10 on sale!)
Gold chain necklace – Thrifted
Pearl studs – Claires

First of all, that wall is a very pale tan and I’m STILL whiter than it. *sigh* Story of my white girl life…

So I mentioned last month that I would be collaborating with some fabulous other bloggers from around the web. Today I’m partnering with Josie over at Fine and Feathered for a clothing swap! When she sent me this skirt to style I was wondering what direction to go in until I got a pair of tights for my birthday that matched it perfectly. Boom, problem solved. That cat shirt is one of my favorite wardrobe items right now so I was happy to have an excuse to wear it too. :)

If you’re interested in seeing the item I sent Josie to style you can find her post here. Didn’t she do a fab job? I usually wear that dress over jeans but I love her idea of styling it under a skirt. Supah cute!

Oh, and I have a question for you, Reader. If you’re reading this blog then I have to assume that you too love fashion and style so I’d like your opinion on something. How do you feel about half shirts/belly shirts? I always get crazy mixed reactions when I wear one. Some people don’t blink while others can’t quit staring (or glaring). What’s your take on them?

How cute are you in your kitty crop top. Aw, to be in my twenties again (at least when it comes to what’s doable with fashion). And what a fantastic idea for a collaboration, a clothing swap. I love it. Hope you’re well Mollie!

I love cropped tops like this. The cat print is awesome! I think cropped shirts look great as long as they’re with something high-waisted.

I agree, at least for me. I’ve seen girls pull off super cute crop tops without anything high waisted but I’m much too shy. At least for now. :D
