So it’s summer and I’m craving bright warm colors on everything from Instagram to muh ice cream cones! Not that I eat that many ice cream cones. Seems like a lot of work when you can just scoop it out of the carton with a spoon, right? ^_^

I want to be sure to give a big shout out to Shauna who first introduced me to painting ice cream cones and inspired me to try my own version. Love love your creativity, girl!

YOU WILL NEED:
Ice cream cones
Vodka
Gel food coloring
Food grade paintbrush

Mix the gel food coloring with a tablespoon of vodka. (You can use water but alcohol dries super fast which keeps the cone from getting soggy!) Use the paintbrush to paint the first two bottom rows of the ice cream cone.

Pick another color but this time just paint a thin line around the cone. Or experiment with your own cool patterns!

Last step: Treat yourself to a highly instagram-able ice cream cone. You deserve it. :)
